Residential Albatros, newly built luxury apartments, is situated on the Los Moriscos Golf course and beach of Playa Granada only 2 kms from the town of Salobrena and 8 kms from Motril. Salobrena is often described as one of the prettiest towns in the south of Spain with its winding narrow streets and the Arab castle perched high on the hill with magnificent views across the coastline.

Apartment Yanny offers accommodation to a high standard, newly furnished with a large terrace with views over the communal gardens, swimming pools and sea for alfresco dining. There are communal tropical gardens for residents only with large pool (40 mtrs long x 20 mtrs wide - shallow end 1 mtr depth - deep end 2.2 mtrs) and children´s pool (open between Easter and mid-October annually). Two tennis courts (one astroturf and one all-weather) and 5 paddle tennis courts with cafe beside the pool area. The golf club is a 2 minute walk from the apartment on the beachfront.

Los Moriscos Golf Club is an 18 hole golf course, links style, designed by Ibergolf and Manuel Piñero, opened in 1974, mainly flat, adorned with palm trees, featuring large greens and 2 lakes. The course winds its way around the beachfront and the Residential Albatros apartments.
This first floor apartment (with lifts) is newly equipped and offers spacious throughout. There are two bedrooms and two bathrooms - ideal for couples, singles or families. The apartment sleeps 4 but an additional bed or cot is available for children - a high chair can also be provided.
The modern interior decoration of the apartment has been thoughtfully and tastefully designed to offer comfortable and spacious accommodation. The kitchen is very well equipped with utensils and has a large fridge/freezer, oven/grill, 4 ring electric hob, microwave and dishwasher. A utility room off the kitchen has an additional wash basin and washing machine.

An underground garage space is provided for the use of guests at the apartment with lift access. Entrances to the garage, gardens and apartments of Residential Albatros are through electronic gates and doors and there are caretakers, gardeners and night porters.

Floors in the apartment are white marble throughout. Views from the sitting room and both bedrooms look onto the communal gardens. The double bedroom has an ensuite bathroom with full length bath/shower and the second large bathroom has a shower.
It is a 2 minute walk to the beach and assorted number of shops, including a supermarket, located opposite the golf club house. Los Moriscos Golf club has a restaurant on the beachfront open at lunchtimes and evenings, and a golf bar serving sandwiches and snacks during the day, which in the evenings has music and entertainers. For other restaurants and bars it is possible to walk a few minutes along the beach towards Playa Poniente where there are many beach restaurants, discos and bars.

There is a local bus service which takes you either to Motril or Salobrena which runs throughout the year. During the summer months it is possible to rent sun beds and umbrellas on the beach and there is a beach bar nearby for refreshments. There are also beach showers and toilets.

The coastline is full of surprises. The beaches of El Penon and La Guardia on either side of Salobrena have many beach bars and restaurants. There are plenty of opportunities to enjoy the sporting and adventure activities in the area. Windsurfing, beach volleyball, deep sea angling, rod fishing and other water sports are all available in this lovely seaside location.
Due to its geographical location, the area enjoys a microclimate, subtropical in character, a warm and gentle 18 degrees in winter and an average of 25 degrees in summer. The apartment is close to the most important places of interest in the area. It is a good stepping-off point for visiting not only the Sierra Nevada (for ski-ing) but also the Alhambra Palace and the city of Granada (50 minutes drive away). The Alpujarras area and its villages are also well worth a trip while visiting the area.
