Cortijo Nispero and Location

Cortijo Nispero is a charming property offering tranquillity and true Spanish style living accommodation. It is situated within walking distance of the town of Durcal where there are plenty of shops, bars and restaurants. Granada is only 20 minutes by car and the ski slopes of the Sierra Nevada 35 minutes.

The Cortijo is set in its own walled and gated grounds.

There are gates at the top of the stairs from the front patio to the private swimming pool and the large garden (lit in the evening) has many tropical fruit trees and hedgerows. The pool is open in the months of June, July, August and September only.

There is a barbecue area close to the house and the patio area is covered by grape vines offering a cool and relaxing area to sit in day or night.

The large swimming pool and sunbathing terrace give beautiful views across the countryside and distant mountains. The pool, garden and outdoor life make a wonderful holiday atmosphere.

The area is ideal for walkers and naturalists as there is a rich variety of wildlife. It is also an ideal property for those wanting to take advantage of the winter snow ski-ing in the Sierra Nevadas.

Durcal is a small town with narrow streets and a central square. There are traditional bars, restaurants, a supermarket, school, pharmacy and other small shops for convenient shopping.

The city of Granada, with its beautiful Alhambra Palace is only 20 minutes by car and the beaches of Salobrena and Almunecar are only 40 minutes away - it is easy to combine culture, mountains and coast all in one visit to the area!
